GOVT. DENTAL COLLEGE ALAPPUZHA
The text focuses on Government T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha, located in Vandanam, Kerala, and does not provide direct information about a separate Government Dental College in Alappuzha. It mentions that the Dentistry department was one of five departments (along with Psychiatry, Dermatology & Venereology, Radiotherapy, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) that were shifted to a newly constructed hospital building near Neerkunnam, Vandanam, on 25 February 1991, as part of the plan to consolidate the Medical College Hospital within the college campus. No further details about the founding year, administrative structure, affiliation, or website of a distinct Dental College are given in the text. All other historical details, such as founding by Sri N.V. Prabhu, the T.D. Medical College Trust, and government takeover, pertain specifically to the Medical College, not a Dental College.
