Vidya Vardhaka Sangha High School is a school located in Mysore, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1948 by the politician Kalastavadi Puttaswamy along with Sahukar Channayya, with the goal of propagating education to the poorer sections of society. The institution began at a small choultry in Mysore before expanding its educational offerings over time. Today, the school provides education across multiple levels, including nursery, primary, junior, and high school, as well as degree-level programs. Its academic offerings extend into professional and technical fields, encompassing subjects such as law, engineering, ITI (Industrial Training Institute) courses, diploma programs, and management courses. Among its affiliated institutions is the Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, which falls under the broader umbrella of the Vidya Vardhaka Sangha's educational initiatives. The founding vision emphasized accessibility to education for economically disadvantaged communities in Mysore, and the institution has since grown to accommodate a wide range of academic and vocational disciplines under one educational body.
