SARDAR PATEL INSTITUTE OF NURSING
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Nursing (SVION) is mentioned as one of the constituent programs of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT), a private technical institute located on the banks of the Mahi River in Vasad, Gujarat, India. SVIT was founded by the New English School Trust (NEST) with the aim of establishing a self-financed degree engineering college, named in honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The institute sought approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliation from Gujarat University in 1997, initially offering engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering. Over time, SVIT expanded to include other programs, including the College of Architecture and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Nursing (SVION). However, the text does not provide specific details about SVION's founding year, courses offered, affiliation, or accreditation. SVIT as a whole is approved by AICTE and hosts various institutional events such as PRAKARSH, VISION, SPANDAN, ZEST-O-PUS, and AVISHKAR.
