HYDERABAD SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEGREE COLLEGE

The Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private business school with campuses in Hyderabad, Telangana, and Mohali, Punjab. It was established in 1996 by a group of businessmen and academics, including co-founders Rajat Gupta and Anil Kumar, senior executives at McKinsey & Company, who built partnerships with Wharton and Kellogg business schools. Pramath Sinha served as its first dean, and Rajat Gupta was its first chairman, succeeded by Adi Godrej in 2011. The Hyderabad campus, the older of the two, was designed by Vikram Lall, established in 2001, and spans 260 acres, featuring an academic centre, recreation centre, student villages, and a Faculty Housing Tower that became Hyderabad's tallest building upon completion in 2011. The Mohali campus opened in 2012 and hosts several research institutes. ISB offers post-graduate management programs, including the Young Leaders' Programme and the Management Programme in Public Policy, and is accredited by AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB, though not by India's AICTE since it awards certificates rather than degrees. It publishes the biannual research periodical ISBInsight and has been ranked among top global MBA programs by the Financial Times and QS World University Rankings.
