MAMA BALESHWAR DAYAL GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KUSHALGARH

Mama Baleshwar Dayal Government College, located at Kushalgarh in Banswara, Rajasthan, is named after Mama Baleshwar Dayal (1905–1998), a social worker and socialist politician renowned for his work among the Bhil tribes of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Dayal worked extensively among the Bhil tribals of Banswara and Dungarpur, campaigning against social evils such as alcoholism, polygamy, superstition, and bride-price, while also mobilizing Bhils to secure their rights to water, forest, and land. He was a prominent Gandhian activist, freedom fighter, and later a socialist politician who served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh between 1977 and 1984. Following his death in Jhabua in 1998, his legacy has been commemorated in various ways, including a samadhi at the Bhil Ashram in Bamniya village, a statue unveiled at Chudada in Rajasthan in 2003 by then Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, and the naming of this government college in Kushalgarh, Banswara, after him. The Wikipedia text does not provide further details about the college's founding year, affiliation, or website.
