ST.ALBERT'S TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTE ERNAKULAM
St. Albert's Teacher Training Institute is located within the campus of St. Albert's HSS (formerly St. Albert's High School) on Banerji Road in Kochi, Kerala. According to the school's history, the Teachers Training Institute was constructed in the campus in 1963, as part of the broader development of the site that began with the founding of St. Albert's School in 1892 by Fr. Candidus, an Italian missionary, with the permission of the Archdiocese of Verapoly. The land for the campus, known locally as 'Thumbaparambu,' was donated by the Maharaja of Cochin. Over the decades, the campus saw various construction projects, including Gothic-style buildings in 1897, a pyramid-shaped building in 1984, and a new building in 1994. The Teacher Training Institute's construction in 1963 fits into this timeline of campus expansion. No further specific details about the institute's courses, affiliation, staff, or students are provided in the available text.
