The provided text does not contain specific details about the Ahmedabad Institute of Hospitality Management. Instead, it describes the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHMCT&AN), commonly known as the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), which is a multi-location public hospitality school system in India. IHM was established by the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India and operates under its jurisdiction. It serves students from India as well as international students from SAARC countries. Admissions to IHM institutes are coordinated through the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (Society), an autonomous body set up in 1982 to promote coordinated growth of hospitality education in the country. Admission is granted via the NCHMCT JEE, a national-level entrance examination. The broader IHM network includes institutes across various Indian cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and others, with notable alumni including chefs, actors, and entrepreneurs.
