Labour India College
Labour India is an educational organization based in Marangattupally, Kottayam, Kerala, India, founded by V.J. George Kulangara in 1983 and registered as a public limited company in 1996. It publishes monthly educational journals in three languages for students from pre-primary to Plus Two level, as well as entrance exam guides, and in 2024 planned to expand into university-level Arts and Science journals covering physics, chemistry, maths, statistics, commerce, and computer science. Its products, including VCDs, multimedia CDs, DVDs, and general knowledge books, are sold to CBSE and Kerala syllabus students in Malayalam, English, and Tamil mediums. The group also runs several other establishments, including Labour India Gurukulam Public School, International Gurukulam Schools, Bluefield International Academy in the US, and the College of Teacher Education, along with ventures in e-learning, tourism, and hospitality. The Labour India Knowledge Village, a training and learning facility, was inaugurated by cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma in 2008. The group's educational research centre was renovated in 2004 and inaugurated by former Indian President K R Narayanan. Santhosh George Kulangara currently serves as managing director, and the group is registered under the Labour India Educational Society in Marangattupilly, Kottayam District, Kerala.
