College of Vocational Studies

The College of Vocational Studies (CVS) is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, established in 1972 as a co-educational institution. It was founded with an emphasis on vocational education, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional university education and practical skill-based learning. The college offers courses in French, German, and Spanish languages, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism and a Post Graduate Diploma in Book Publishing. It also provides traditional honours courses such as Bachelor of Management Studies, History, English, Economics, and Computer Science. Located in Sheikh Sarai Phase-II in South Delhi, the college is near Chirag Delhi and Malviya Nagar metro stations, and close to Select Citywalk, Max Hospital Malviya Nagar, and PSRI Hospital. CVS offers B.A. (Vocational Studies) in seven fields, including Management and Marketing of Insurance, Marketing Management and Retail Business, Tourism Management, Office Management and Secretarial Practice, Small and Medium Enterprises, Human Resource Management, and Material Management. Additionally, it offers professional honours courses like BMS and B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics through CUET admissions, along with regular honours courses in Commerce, Economics, History, Computer Science, English, and Hindi. All admissions are conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG).
