Annie Besant Womens Degree College
The provided text is a biographical account of Annie Besant (1847–1933), an English socialist, theosophist, and advocate for Indian nationalism and women's rights. It details her early life, education, marriage to Frank Besant, and her subsequent involvement in secularism, theosophy, and Indian politics, including her presidency of the Indian National Congress in 1917. The text mentions her role in establishing several educational institutions, such as the Central Hindu School in 1898 and the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board in Bombay in 1922, as well as the Besant Hall in Hyderabad, Sindh. However, the text does not contain any direct information about 'Annie Besant Womens Degree College' located in Hyderabad, Telangana, including its founding year, affiliation, or website. Therefore, no verified facts about this specific institution can be extracted from the given text; the college's naming likely reflects Besant's legacy as an educationist and reformer rather than any documented direct founding by her described in this text.
