RAO BIRENDER SINGH STATE INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING and TECHNOLOGY , ZAINABAD

The Rao Birender Singh State Institute of Engineering & Technology, Rewari, also known as RBSSIETZ, is a government engineering college located in Zainabad, on the outskirts of Rewari District, Haryana. It is one of five engineering colleges operated by the Government of Haryana, alongside institutes in Sirsa, Nilokheri (Karnal), Jhajjar, and Panchkula. The college was proposed in 2013, and its foundation stone was laid in 2014. The institute began functioning in July 2017, with its first batch of students graduating in 2021. It offers B.Tech. courses in Computer Engineering, CSE (Data Science), Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, with a sanctioned intake of 330 students. Admissions are conducted through centralized counselling organized by HSTES based on JEE Main rankings issued by NTA Delhi, with Haryana's reservation policy applied. Lateral entry into the 2nd year of the B.Tech. program is available for Diploma or B.Sc. graduates through the same centralized counselling process. The annual fee is Rs. 40,000, paid in two installments, with additional nominal hostel and security fees.
