Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology

The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) is a private engineering college affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Founded in 1992, it is located in Andheri (west), Mumbai, India, and is run by the Manjara Charitable Trust. The college is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education in Maharashtra and the UGC. RGIT offers the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) as its flagship undergraduate course in disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. It also offers Master of Engineering (M.E.) and Ph.D. programs in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, all conferred by the University of Mumbai. The institute hosts festivals like Zodiac, Icarus, Innovision, and Dimension 5, and has various clubs and societies including MESA, RGAA, IEEE student branch, CESS, IETE Student Forum, and ABIT.
