MUZAFFARNAGAR NURSING INSTITUTE

Muzaffarnagar Medical College (MMC) is located in Muzaffarnagar, Western Uttar Pradesh, India, and provides subsidised health care to the surrounding rural areas of Muzaffarnagar district. It was established in 2006 by the Fateh Chand Charitable Trust under the chairmanship of Late Sh. Satish C. Goel. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India, a division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India. It was affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, from 2006 until it became affiliated with the newly established Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University in 2021. Among its academic offerings is a General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course, along with M.B.B.S., M.D./M.S. programs, and diplomas in Physiotherapy, Optometry, and O.T. Technician. The attached Muzaffarnagar Medical College Hospital (MMCH) is a 950-bedded tertiary care centre with clinical and super-speciality departments such as Cardiology and Nephrology, and facilities including CT Scan, MRI, DSA, Dialysis, IVF, Cath Lab, a 24-hour blood bank, and an in-house pharmacy. The college also has non-clinical and para-clinical departments including Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine, plus a central library. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, it served as a designated quarantine and treatment center for the district.
