UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT

The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, is an engineering institution situated in Rajasthan. It was established in 2011 by the IEM-UEM Group, an education group with roots dating back to 1989 when the Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) was founded in Kolkata. UEM Jaipur is one of three engineering institutions created by this group, the others being IEM and the University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, which was established later in 2015. As part of the wider IEM-UEM network, UEM Jaipur shares administrative ties with the group's trust structure. In terms of student and institutional activities, UEM Jaipur has participated in placement initiatives; notably, on 22 March 2017, it organized a 'Mega Job Mela' in association with the Government of Rajasthan, where more than 50 companies participated in recruiting freshers. Beyond this event, the provided text does not detail further specifics about UEM Jaipur's academic programs, recognition, or campus activities, as most available information pertains primarily to its sister institution in Kolkata.
