Dr A P J ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE, LUCKNOW

The Faculty of Architecture and Planning is one of the constituent colleges of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), a public collegiate university based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. AKTU was originally established as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 May 2000. The university was later bifurcated in 2010 into Gautam Buddh Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University, before being reunified in 2013. It was officially renamed Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University on 18 September 2015. AKTU is an affiliating university with hundreds of colleges under it, and its constituent colleges include the Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, the Centre for Advanced Studies, and the U.P. Institute of Design, Noida. The university offers undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture (B.Arch), hotel management, fashion design, and pharmacy, along with postgraduate courses like MCA and MBA. AKTU is accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade and is approved by the UGC and AICTE. The medium of instruction across its programs, including architecture, is English.
