JEPPIAAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Jeppiaar Institute Football Club, also referred to as Jeppiaar Institute Of Technology Football Club, is an Indian association football club based in Puducherry. The club's men's section competes in the Pondicherry Men's League Championship, while its women's section competes in the Pondicherry Women's League. The club was formed in 2016 as a team of twelve under-privileged girls coached by Mariappan, a football coach who had previously trained boys at a government-run children's home in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. The girls, who also lived in the home, requested he coach them, which he eventually agreed to do. The club also competed in the inaugural Indian Women's League. The men's team later qualified for the fourth-tier 2023–24 I-League 3, where they took part in the group stage but did not advance to the play-offs. The club is listed with the All India Football Federation.
