Rishi Bankim Chandra College for Women

Rishi Bankim Chandra College for Women originated from the trifurcation of Rishi Bankim Chandra College, a general degree college situated in Naihati, West Bengal. On 13 July 1984, for the sake of better management and more intensive monitoring of value-based education, the original college was split into three independent entities: Rishi Bankim Chandra College (continuing as before), Rishi Bankim Chandra College for Women, and Rishi Bankim Chandra Evening College. This division created a dedicated institution for women's education in the Naihati area, part of the Barrackpore Subdivision of North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. The parent institution, from which the women's college was carved out, was itself established in 1947–48 in honour of the litterateur Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, who wrote India's National Song. Beyond the fact of its founding through this 1984 trifurcation and its location in Naihati, the provided text does not give further specific details about the courses, departments, affiliation, or facilities of Rishi Bankim Chandra College for Women itself.
