SILVER OAK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

Silver Oak College of Engineering & Technology traces its origins to 2009, when it began as an affiliated college in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, later expanding into the Silver Oak Group of Institutes and eventually becoming Silver Oak University in 2019 after recognition by the University Grants Commission under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. The institution offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across engineering, technology, management, commerce, design, law, science, humanities, and healthcare disciplines, serving more than 25,000 students. In May 2025, it received Grade A accreditation from NAAC and has been recognized as the youngest university in Ahmedabad to achieve this distinction. It has earned several accolades, including being ranked 7th among Top Engineering Colleges in India by The Times of India, recognition as the 'Most Innovative Engineering College' by 94.3 My FM, and the Times Education Icon Gujarat 2024 Award for Excellence in Innovation. The campus, located in the Gota area of Ahmedabad, includes academic buildings, laboratories, a library, and hostel facilities. The institution has faced controversies, including protests over unlisted fees in 2022 and an Income Tax Department raid on suspicion of tax evasion later that year.
