BUDDHA POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE

Buddha Polytechnic Institute was established in 2010 as a private polytechnic degree engineering college. It operates as a unit of the Buddha Group of Institutions and is situated in Gaya. The institute offers undergraduate degree programs in several engineering disciplines, including electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. It is affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education, which oversees its academic standards and curriculum.

Admission to the institute is conducted through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE), which administers an entrance test for prospective students. Candidates are admitted based on their position in the merit list generated from this examination, followed by a counseling process. For students seeking lateral entry into the second year of study, eligibility requires having passed a Diploma in Engineering or a B.Sc. degree, along with appearing in the merit list prepared by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The institute is associated with related educational entities such as Buddha Institute of Technology, reflecting its broader institutional network within Bihar's higher education landscape.
