A.C.Evening College
A.C. Evening College is a component of Andhra Christian College (A.C. College), a Christian educational institution located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. The overall college was established in 1885 by Protestant missionaries from the United States and was among the first colleges in India to offer graduate programs. The United Lutheran Church in America, through Rev. Fr. John Christian Frederick Heyer, had earlier established the Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church (AELC) on 31 July 1842, and it is this church, through its Board of Education, that administers the college today. The institution comprises three entities: a Day College, an Evening College, and a College of Law, offering intermediate, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. The college has had a succession of pastors serving as administrators since its founding, with Dr. Moses currently serving as Principal. The broader Andhra Christian College campus has also been used as a filming location for several Telugu movies, including Pilla Zamindar, Chalo, and Brochevarevarura.
