National Power Training Institute , Faridabad.

National Power Training Institute (NPTI) is a government training institution operating under the Ministry of Power in Faridabad, India. Over the course of its existence, spanning several decades and multiple tenures of Indian governments, NPTI has grown continuously in scope and capability. Originally, the institute was focused solely on providing training in thermal power generation. However, it has since equipped itself to offer training across all major segments of the power sector, including generation, transmission, and distribution. Through this expansion, NPTI has broadened its role within India's power sector training infrastructure. Over the last four decades, the institute has trained thousands of individuals, including engineers, supervisors, and technicians. These trainees have come from a wide range of backgrounds, including most of the Electricity Boards in India, as well as public and private sector utilities. In addition to serving domestic personnel, NPTI has also trained individuals from developing nations, reflecting its role in capacity building beyond India's borders. The institute's continuous growth and adaptation to the evolving needs of the power sector underscore its significance as a training body under the Ministry of Power.
