MAHARAJA AGARSEN COLLEGE

Maharaja Agrasen Medical College (MAMC), located at Agroha on NH-9 in Haryana, India, is a medical college affiliated to Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission. It is named after the legendary king Maharaja Agrasen and was founded by Shree Om Prakash Jindal, with the governing society established on 18 April 1988. The society, Maharaja Agrasen Medical Education & Scientific Research Society, was created to provide healthcare, medical education, and research facilities to people in Haryana and neighboring states of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh. The college sits on a 270-acre campus with a 550-bed teaching hospital, a 30-bed ICU, and accommodation for staff and students. It comprises 20 departments across clinical, paraclinical, and pre-clinical categories, and offers MBBS, MD, MS, and other paramedical courses through its associated Vidya Devi Jindal Paramedical College. Admissions to MBBS are via NEET (UG), and PG admissions via NEET (PG). The current president of the governing society is Savitri Jindal, succeeding Om Prakash Jindal and Naveen Jindal. As of 2025, the college does not offer superspeciality DM or M.Ch. courses, though it has proposed dental and pharmacy colleges.
