S.G.Women's College
Sushilavati Government Women's College, also known as S.G. Women's College, is a state-run undergraduate women's college situated in sector two of the city of Rourkela, Odisha. The college was founded in 1967 by Sushilavati Khosla, the wife of former Odisha governor Dr. Ajudhiya Nath Khosla, who donated Rs one lakh to establish the institution in collaboration with the D.A.V Trust. In 1989, the administration and funding of the college were taken over by the Government of Odisha, which has since run its education curriculum. The college received accreditation from NAAC with a grade B certification in 2005. It is affiliated with Sambalpur University, through which it offers students three years of regular undergraduate courses in Arts (B.A) and Science (B.Sc.). Related institutions mentioned include S.K.D.A.V. Government Polytechnic, Rourkela, and Sushilavati Government Women's Junior College, Rourkela, both of which share a connection to the founder's legacy and the broader educational network in the region.
