KV Ranga Reddy Law College
K.V. Ranga Reddy Law College is one of the institutions established under the Andhra Vidyalaya Education Society, a pioneering educational society founded in 1944 in the erstwhile Nizam State of Hyderabad by Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, former Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The law college was set up in 1991, the same year that the Andhra Vidyalaya College began offering postgraduate courses. It functions alongside the Degree College and Post-graduation college as part of the broader Andhra Vidyalaya College, Arts, Science and Commerce institution located in Hyderabad, India. The parent institution is spread over a 7.13-acre campus and is accredited with an A grade by NAAC. The campus also houses the Postgraduate library, established in 1991 and hosted in the Suravaram Pratapa Reddy Library Building, which contains a large collection of books and subscribes to numerous journals and periodicals. The broader institution is known for its emphasis on sports and games, with spacious grounds encouraging student participation in indoor and outdoor games. Notable alumni associated with the Andhra Vidyalaya College institutions include Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana; Pullela Gopichand, badminton coach; and Subhash Reddy, a Justice of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
