TEAM LEASE SKILLS UNIVERSITY

TeamLease Skills University (TLSU) is a public-private university situated in Tarsali, Vadodara, Gujarat. Established in 2013, it is recognized as India's first vocational education and training university. The institution's mission centers on providing skills-based education designed to enhance students' employability. TLSU collaborates with various industries and organizations to deliver a blended learning model that combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training. This includes on-the-job training (OJT) programs, internships, and apprenticeships that help students gain real-world experience. The university's academic offerings span multiple fields such as technology, business, and healthcare, ensuring that students acquire practical skills aligned with current industry demands. This approach aims to bridge the gap between theoretical academic knowledge and practical, real-world application, making graduates job-ready. TLSU is linked to one of India's largest staffing and recruitment agencies, which supports its industry-oriented educational model. Additionally, the university has formal agreements with the Gujarat government and the Labour Ministry of India to promote and facilitate apprenticeship programs, further strengthening its focus on vocational training and workforce readiness.
