M.N COLLEGE ,VISNAGAR
Maneklal Nanchand College, commonly known as M.N. College, is a government college situated in Visnagar, in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, India. It was established in 1946 with financial assistance of Rs. 4 lakh from the philanthropist Sheth Maneklal Nanchand, in whose honor the institution was named. At the time of its founding, the college was among the few higher educational institutions in the region, drawing students from parts of present-day North Gujarat and Rajasthan. The founding principal of the college was Vinayaka Krishna Gokak. The campus architecture was designed in a style inspired by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, incorporating elements of European institutional design. Today, the college spans approximately 45 acres in Visnagar and is known for its heritage-style main building and tree-lined grounds. It remains recognized as one of the oldest institutions of higher education in North Gujarat.
