Khalsa College for Women Amritsar
Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar was established in 1968 and is one of the institutions run under the Khalsa College Charitable Society, which also manages the century-old Khalsa College, Amritsar, founded in 1892. The Khalsa College Charitable Society oversees a number of colleges and schools in Amritsar and nearby areas, including Khalsa College of Education (1954), Khalsa College of Nursing (2006), Khalsa College of Pharmacy (2009), and several senior secondary schools. Khalsa College for Women is listed among these institutions as a dedicated college for women's education within the broader Khalsa College network. The text does not provide further specific details about its campus, faculties, courses, or affiliation beyond its inclusion in the list of colleges under the Khalsa College Charitable Society. It shares its administrative origins with the main Khalsa College, which was founded in 1892 in Amritsar to provide higher education to Sikhs and Punjabis, and whose campus and history are extensively documented, though the Women's College itself is only briefly mentioned as part of this larger institutional family.
