Dogra Law College
Dogra Law College is a private law school situated at Bari Brahmana, in the Duggar land region of Jammu, in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The college offers undergraduate law courses of three years' duration as well as 5-Year Integrated LL.B. courses. These programs are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi, and the college is affiliated with the University of Jammu. In terms of its history, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir granted permission to establish the college in 1999, at which point the University of Jammu also granted its affiliation. The college was finally established in 2000, following its accreditation by the Bar Council of India. This sequence of approvals—from the state government, the university, and the Bar Council of India—marks the formal founding process of Dogra Law College as a recognized institution for legal education in the region.
