M.L.V Textile & Engineering College,Bhilwara

Manikya Lal Verma Govt. Textile and Engineering College, earlier known as Manikya Lal Verma Textile Institute (MLVTI), is an autonomous engineering institute of the government of Rajasthan, managed by the Manikya Lal Verma Textile Institute society in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, India. It originated as a polytechnic college run as a joint venture between the government of Rajasthan and the Bhilwara group of industries (now the LNJ Bhilwara group), aiming to produce textile technocrats for Bhilwara's industrial needs. It was upgraded to a full engineering institute in 1988. In 1994, the college added Textile Chemistry, and it currently produces 200 textile engineers per class year. It introduced Information Technology in 2001, Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2003, Textile Engineering in 2006, and Mechanical Engineering in 2007. The college has a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus, organizes industrial tours and seminars, and provides separate hostels for boys and girls. It celebrated its silver jubilee on 15 November 2014. The institute also offers various industrial services, including consultancy, commercial testing of textile materials, project preparation, computer-aided design and color matching services, short-term courses, and in-plant training programs for industry staff.
