Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) is an engineering college situated at Mount Pleasant, Road number 3, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is named after Prince Muffakham Jah, grandson of the 7th Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan, who donated the land for the institution. Established in 1980, MJCET is affiliated to Osmania University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is run and maintained by the Sultan-ul-Uloom Educational Society. The college offers four-year B.E. degree courses in eight engineering branches, including Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, and Production Engineering, most of which are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Institution of Engineers (India). It also offers five postgraduate M.E. programs, an M.Tech in Computer Science, and an MCA program. Admissions to B.E. courses are through TS EAPCET scores. The campus, located in Banjara Hills, includes multiple departmental blocks, workshops, a mosque, canteens, and parking areas, and hosts several student activity clubs such as IEEE, ACM, SAE, and Engineers Without Borders.
