Sri Chaitanya College Of Education
Sri Chaitanya College Of Education operates under the umbrella of Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, a chain of schools, junior colleges, hostels, coaching institutes and degree colleges across India. Founded in 1986 by Dr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao and his wife, Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Boppana, the institution began as a junior college for girls in Vijaywada before expanding to Hyderabad in 1991 and Visakhapatnam in 1998, later spreading to various districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The group runs over 321 state board-affiliated junior colleges, 322 K-10 Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools, and 107 CBSE-affiliated schools, serving over 8.5 lakh students, making it one of Asia's largest educational franchises. In 2021, Tollywood actor Allu Arjun became the brand ambassador under the 'No Compromise on Success' campaign. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the group launched an edtech platform, Infinity Learn, later expanding with acquisitions like Don't Memorise and a stake in WizKlub, and partnering with Google Cloud India in 2024. The founder, Dr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao, passed away on 13 July 2023.
