JABALPUR INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE, JABALPUR

IIITDM Jabalpur, also called Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, was founded in 2005 and declared an Institute of National Importance under the IIIT Act in 2014. Its campus spans about 260 acres in Dumna, near Jabalpur Airport, featuring the Lecture Hall and Tutorial Complex, Core Lab Complex, an Open Air Theatre, and a Student Activity Center. The institute offers B.Tech, B.Des, M.Tech, M.Des, and Ph.D. programmes across disciplines including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Smart Manufacturing, Design, Natural Sciences, and Liberal Arts. Admissions for B.Tech are through JEE Main and JoSAA, B.Des through UCEED, M.Tech through GATE/CCMT, and M.Des through CEED. Research areas include AI, Data Science, Computer Vision, IoT, Cybersecurity, and Advanced Manufacturing, supported by sponsored projects such as those from the Indian Ordnance Factories. Student life includes three annual festivals—Tarang, Abhikalpan, and Gusto—and several clubs covering art, automotive design, business, racing, programming, music, and literature. Notable alumni include thermal and tracking engineers who contributed to ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission.
