JUBILEE MISSION COLLEGE OF NURSING, THRISSUR

Jubilee Mission College of Nursing operates under the Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, a private, non-profit Christian minority institution located in Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is administered by the Jubilee Mission Hospital Trust, a charitable organization under the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. The broader institution began as the Bishop Alapatt Jubilee Memorial Hospital, established on 17 December 1951 as a small dispensary, later growing into a major healthcare provider under Dr. H.S. Adenwalla. The nursing school commenced in 1966, providing nursing education alongside the hospital's clinical services. The Medical Council of India recognized the hospital for internship training in 1971 and as a teaching hospital in 2003, after which the institution opened both the Jubilee Medical College and the Jubilee School of Nursing. The campus, spanning about 25 acres in the heart of Thrissur city, includes hospital blocks, a medical college, hostels, staff quarters, libraries, and other amenities. The institute also runs outreach centres and PHCs across Thrissur district, supporting practical training opportunities for nursing and medical students within a large multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
