GIM began with a single classroom of 35 students at V. M. The institute offers a full-time PGDM (MBA), PGDM in Healthcare Management, PGDM in Big Data Analytics, PGDM in Banking, Insurance & Financial Services, a Part-Time Executive MBA, and a doctoral Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). It is governed by a board and is accredited by AICTE and the National Board of Accreditation, with international accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and GSBN. The Sanquelim campus features data, finance, and behavioural labs, residential hostels, sports facilities, and hosts events like TEDx talks, Ribandar Talks, and the annual Inception festival, along with 26 student clubs and community initiatives such as Give Goa.
