Institute of Science and Technology - Management

The Neotia Institute of Technology Management and Science (NITMAS) is a private engineering college situated on Diamond Harbor Road, about 39 kilometers on the south western fringes of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Established in 2002, it was previously known as the Institute of Technology and Marine Engineering (ITME). From 2006, the college began offering a three-year graduate program in Bachelor of Nautical Science, and since 2010 it has been part of the Ambuja Neotia Group. The institute is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate General of Shipping, India. The fully residential campus spans 35 acres and includes seven hostels, a medical health center, sports facilities, a swimming pool, gym, cafeteria, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a model ship used for training marine engineers. Academic offerings include undergraduate degrees in Bio-technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and B.Sc in Nautical Science, along with a master's program in M.Tech VLSI Design.
