Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow (IET Lucknow) is a state government-funded technical institute located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 1984 as the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Lucknow, it was later reorganized into an independent, autonomous institute. It has been affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University since 2000, after earlier affiliations with the University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, and Gautam Buddh Technical University. The institute is fully residential, with eight boys' hostels and four girls' hostels accommodating around 2,500 students, all equipped with modern amenities. IET Lucknow offers B.Tech., M.Tech., MBA, and MCA programs across departments including Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Biotechnology, and Applied Science and Humanities. The institute has an active placement cell and an Industry Institute Partnership Cell established in 1999. Its alumni association, IETLAA, was registered in 2009 and conducts an interactive speaker series called 'Alumni Speak.'
