NIGHTINGALE COLLEGE OF NURSING
Nightingale College is a private for-profit nursing school headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, formed in 2010. It is an accredited distance education institution offering nursing programs ranging from diploma to master's degree level, including LPN-to-ASN, PN, BSN, MSN FNP, and MSN PMHNP programs. The college began offering its Associate of Science in Nursing program in April 2011 and received full accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017. In its first ten years, more than 1,000 students graduated; by 2025 the college graduated 1,874 nurses, and by 2026 had over 10,000 students enrolled. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the college used a hub-based educational model with simulation and skills labs at partner care facilities. During the pandemic it shifted to online 2-D simulations, and by 2021 began piloting Meta VR headsets, mandating VR skills training the following year. In February 2026, the college hosted its first TEDx Nightingale College event, featuring fourteen speakers including CEO Dr. Mikhail Shneyder. Nightingale College is institutionally accredited by NWCCU and programmatically accredited by CCNE, CNEA, and NLN CNEA, and has received several workplace and educational awards.
