GOPAL NARAYAN SINGH UNIVERSITY

Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) is a state private university situated at Jamuhar village near the city of Sasaram in Rohtas district, Bihar, India. It was among the first six private universities established in Bihar. The university was notified in the Bihar Gazette following a decision of the Bihar cabinet on 5 June 2018, and it has an official establishment date of 15 June 2018. GNSU comprises several faculties and departments, including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Law, Department of Commerce, Department of Mass Communication & Journalism, and Department of Library & Information Sciences. Its campuses include Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Narayan Nursing College, Narayan Academy of Managerial Excellence, Narayan Institute of Pharmacy, Narayan Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Narayan School of Law, and Narayan Paramedical Institute & Allied Sciences. The campus infrastructure includes halls of residence, faculty and staff housing, food courts, a gym, multifacility halls, parks, playgrounds, indoor sports facilities, and healthcare services through the Narayan Medical College hospital. The administrative block houses the offices of the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, a Board Room, an Admission Centre, an MIS Centre, and a Design and Media Centre.
