National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) is a research-focused university situated in South West Delhi, India, set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education), Government of India. It began in 1962 as the UNESCO Asian Centre for Educational Planners, Administrators and Supervisors, later becoming the Asian Institute of Educational Planning and Administration in 1965, then the National Staff College for Educational Planners and Administrators in 1973, and finally renamed NIEPA in 1979. NIEPA offers academic programmes including a Master of Arts in Education and Development, Master of Philosophy, and Doctor of Philosophy.
