Keshav Mahavidyalaya
Keshav Mahavidyalaya (KMV) is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, situated in the northwest residential area of Pitam Pura. It was established by the Government of Delhi in August 1994, initially operating from a school building in the Keshav Puram residential area. The college offers only undergraduate programmes, with degrees awarded under the purview of the University of Delhi. In 2025, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the college 93rd among colleges in India. The foundation stone for the college's new campus building was laid by former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit on 23 March 2003, and the building was later inaugurated by former Lt. Governor B.L. Joshi on 27 November 2005. Students began being admitted to the new campus from the 2006-07 academic session, which also introduced new courses such as Maths (Honours), Psychology (Honours), and BMS. The campus includes a girls' hostel accommodating 75 students on a twin-sharing basis, with a messdeck facility. For sports, the college maintains a full-size ground for football, handball, and athletics, though it lacks a cricket pitch and badminton court. It also has a separate sports room with a table-tennis facility and a unisex gym, and it holds an annual Sports Day.
