ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL ALWAR
ESIC Medical College, Alwar, fully known as Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Alwar, is a co-educational medical college situated in Alwar, Rajasthan, India. The college building was constructed by Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Limited in 2016 and was subsequently handed over to the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in 2017. Although designed with a capacity of 500 general beds and 250 dynamic beds, disputes among the authorities have allowed only a 50-bed hospital to become operational so far. The campus includes a medical college building equipped with modern technology, along with 200 flats constructed for doctors and staff members. The institution has faced ongoing controversy since its construction due to a dispute between the central and state governments, and there is currently no confirmation of when the college will begin operating at full capacity.
